FAQs

Yes. We offer a range of hardness levels, from flexible to rigid, to suit various applications like garden hoses, automotive trims, gaskets, draglines, and furniture profiles.

We incorporate UV stabilisers into our formulations to prevent degradation and maintain colour integrity in products exposed to sunlight.

Not all of our compounds are medical grade, but we can formulate flexible extrusion compounds upon request to meet the stringent requirements of medical device applications, including biocompatibility and sterilisation resistance. This specialization calls for stricter raw material selection and extensive compliance testing, leading to higher costs. If you need a medical-grade solution, please specify this in your enquiry so we can recommend the most suitable option.

Yes. We can formulate compounds in a wide range of colours, including custom matches to meet your branding or design specifications.

Lead times vary depending on whether the compound is an existing grade or a new formulation. For our existing customers and established grades, we typically fulfill orders within 2-3 weeks.

For new grades or first-time customers, the lead time is usually extended by 1-2 weeks to allow for sampling, approvals, and colour matching. In cases where unique raw materials are required for highly specialised requests, the timeline may be longer, but we will always provide an upfront estimate and keep you informed throughout the process.

Our priority is to align with your production schedule and deliver the highest quality product in a timely manner.

Yes, we do. Our sampling process is designed to ensure our compounds perform to your exact specifications before any large-scale production begins.

For every new grade and customer, we supply a sample for testing. Once you’ve confirmed it is “fit for use”, you’ll sign off on a Sample Approval Form (SAF). This crucial step provides a clear record and ensures that we only move forward with a compound that you have personally approved, guaranteeing quality and consistency from the start.

Our compounds can be formulated with heat stabilisers to withstand elevated temperatures without compromising performance.

Yes. We adhere to international standards and can tailor formulations to meet specific regulatory requirements, including RoHS and REACH compliance.

Yes. We offer flame-retardant formulations suitable for applications requiring compliance with fire safety standards.

We implement stringent quality control measures and batch testing to ensure uniformity and reliability in every production run.

While our standard compounds are not food grade, we can formulate specialised compounds that comply with international food contact regulations. Because these materials require strict raw material selection and additional compliance testing, they are more expensive than our standard grades. If you require a food-grade solution, please be sure to include this in your enquiry.

Yes, we can formulate compounds with antimicrobial properties to suit your specific needs. By incorporating specialised antimicrobial agents, we can help you enhance product hygiene and longevity by actively inhibiting microbial growth on the surface.

Since these are customised grades, it’s important to specify this requirement at the time of your enquiry so we can recommend the most suitable formulation.

Yes. We can tailor compounds to withstand exposure to a variety of chemicals and solvents, ensuring durability in industrial and automotive applications.
